At Tūrama Psychology, we provide psychological assessment and therapy for a range of mental health challenges, attachment and relationship concerns, and trauma. Therapy typically begins with a collaborative assessment, where the client and psychologist develop a shared understanding (formulation) of what has led to current difficulties, alongside strengths and supports. From this foundation, therapy is tailored to each person’s culture, worldview, and unique experiences, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches and Kaupapa Māori models of hauora (wellbeing).

Price: between $200-$250 per 50 minute session depending on the psychologist.

Tūrama Psychology offers both Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments for adults in Aotearoa.

These assessments include a telehealth assessment with one of our psychologists. Please enquire about an in person assessment. Additionally, you will be provided with a variety of questionnaires to complete to support your assessment. Lastly, a family or friend who has known you prior to the age of 12, will provide collateral information for the assessment. A comprehensive report will be provided detailing the assessment and diagnostic findings. Please note that our service does not include a medication review.

Fees

• $1,800 NZD (including GST) – Standard assessment for either ADHD / Aroreretini or ASD / Takiwātanga. Payment is required prior to the assessment.
  

• $2,200 NZD (including GST) – Complex assessment.

Please note: A complex assessment includes a combined AuDHD assessment (assessment for both ADHD and ASD), or situations where an individual has a complex clinical history, such as multiple previous diagnoses.
